The MC52i & MC55i modules are the successor to the TC35i & MC35i modems. The new modules include additional functionality but still remain compatible with the previous generation modules. The units come as a starter kit with 12V in-line Power Supply (UK or EU mains lead), Serial data cable and Magmount antenna.
Based on the powerful MC55i wireless module platform the improved Terminals offer additional functionality while remaining compatible with its predecessors, TC35i/MC35i.
The new generation is available as Quad-Band with GPRS Class 10 functionality (MC55iT) and as a Dual-Band variant with GPRS Class 8 functionality (MC52iT). With an extended temperature range, the reliable terminals can be used in a wide range of M2M business fields such as metering, remote maintenance, traffic systems, transportation and logistics, and security.
The robust housing includes a range of common interfaces as well as an integrated SIM cardholder which make the new generation an all-in-one solution enabling voice, data, SMS and fax communication.
